Web Plus for File Uploaders: A New Edit Set for Version 11.1

Web Plus will now run Version 11.1 edits on incoming uploaded abstract files.
Web Plus has new edits, such as those that require text in certain fields that were not required in the past (text for primary site, histology, and pathology findings). More information for reporters can be found on the Reporters' Page.
Any file bundles with errors above your facility’s error threshold will be rejected. (If a facility wants to change its error threshold, please contact the Westat-MCR QA/DM Technical Help Line: 1 - 888 - 662 - 0016, between the hours of 8am and 5pm. )

IMPORTANT message about V11 files uploaded BEFORE March 29, 2007

These files in V11 are available for you to view your edit errors. Additional information about viewing edit errors can be found at www.fha.state.md.us/cancer/registry/.
Many bundles of files have a Status of “Acceptable Errors” and yet may have many errors. The errors are there for you to review.

Because we have accepted your bundle already, PLEASE DO NOT CORRECT the errors and DO NOT RESUBMIT the file without first contacting Westat-MCR QA/DM—otherwise the MCR will have duplicates of those records.
Depending on the nature and extent of errors, your Westat-MCR CTR may call and request clarification (e.g., missing Address at Diagnosis--City), or may ask you to resubmit the bundle with errors corrected.
